COLOR MASTERBATCH

Color masterbatch refers to a plastic colorant made by dispersing a high proportion of pigments or additives with thermoplastic resins. The resin used has good wetting and dispersing properties for the colorant and good compatibility with the material being colored. In short: pigment + carrier + additives = color masterbatch. Color masterbatch coloring is currently the most common method for coloring plastics.

ADDTIVE MASTERBATCH

Plastic additive masterbatch refers to a concentrated pellets made by loading various plastic additives (such as anti-aging agents, antistatic agents, flame retardants, luminescent agents, fragrances, anti-fogging agents, opening agents, abrasives, etc.) into a carrier resin in excessive amounts. It is the most commonly used key raw material in plastic processing. By adding functional masterbatch, specific functional properties can be endowed to plastic products, while also having advantages such as ease of use, dust-free and pollution-free production, and high batch stability.

MODIFIED MATERIAL

Modified plastics refer to the technology of obtaining desired new materials through physical modification methods such as filling, reinforcement, and blending, chemical modification methods such as block copolymerization and radiation crosslinking, or other modification methods such as foaming, stretching, and compounding during the processing of polymer resins into plastic products. This technology greatly improves the flame retardancy, thermal conductivity, mechanical properties, wear resistance, and electromagnetic shielding properties of plastics. At the same time, it may reduce some of the original properties and characteristics of plastics, such as leading to a decrease in insulation performance, corrosion resistance, and gloss. However, technicians can use appropriate formulations and measures to reduce the negative changes in performance.
